Never apply oregano oil undiluted to the skin or to mucous membranes.
Do not take oregano essential oil internally.
Due to its high thymol content, oregano oil is a dermocaustic, "hot" oil and a mucous membrane irritant.
When used topically, avoid eyes, inner nose, genitals and other sensitive mucous membranes, especially if you have a history of skin allergies.
Pregnant women should avoid.
