Mo's Essential Oils

Hello Holistic living people,

How is everyone? Well I will AGAIN start by apologizing for the supreme lateness of this post, it has just been bedlam around these here parts with the re branding, new website, new look in general which fingers crossed I hope you like.

Also, apologies for the website being shut down for so long, we just had to clench our teeth and get it done, we hope we were able to fix all the issues you told us about in your feedback to give a cleaner, easier to use website

We are currently transitioning into our parent body name "Mo's Natural Solutions Ltd" so when you see this name, it's still us just, we're just growing to accommodate the other botanicals we will be introducing in the near future.

First in line is our organic vegan lip balm "Neroli Kisses" we do hope you like it, send us feedback please on this when you try it and also on the new branding and website.

Well jumping right back in there, we'll continue from whence we stopped.....here goes:

Preparing your blend:

As a rule of thumb, essential oils should be diluted in a carrier substance (vegetable or nut oil) at no greater concentration than 3-5%.

That means if you have one teaspoon (5cc) of carrier, you would add 3 drops of pure essential oil. This would make a 3% solution that could be used on a portion of the body. Some oils e.g. Java Citronella, Cinammon Bark & Balsam Peru etc. are so strong they require lower percentages.

For massage or for application over large areas of the body, a 1% solution (meaning, one drop of essential oil in one teaspoon of carrier) is generally a safe concentration.

Certain EOs e.g needs to be diluted further.

How to chose a carrier oil:

Organic and cold-pressed carrier oils are preferred, and examples include Blackcurrant seed, Black cumin seed, Peach Kernel, Walnut, Watermelon Seed, Blackberry seed, Muskmelon, Cucumber seed, Thistle oils etc.

Some of the carrier oils in our collection you might or might not know that well, but these beauties are well known in the skin care world as wonder oils in their own right. They can be used as part of an essential oil blend which will make them even more potent but are fine when used just on their own.........these power houses deliver!

Carrier oils should be kept refrigerated until used and should be discarded if they smell rancid. (Oils typically keep between 1-2years if refrigerated)

Soo, we'll wrap this up here for today.

Until the next time we chat......i'll be on time I promise

Peace & Love.

Naturally yours,

Mo!
